Identity Crisis

I suddenly felt a quick shiver through my spine. The Officer before me was repeating for the second time. 'Sir, You do not look like the person on the Passport. Get yourself a New Passport. Then you get your visa'.

I was about to return to land of lady liberty for couple of months before starting a trip to the hallowed grounds of IIMA. But that was not the way it was supposed to be.

I happily accepted the Officer's advice and acknowledged the refusal under 221G.
What next. A Homage to the Indian PP Office for a replacement PP. I thought it will be atleast a month before I can see me smiling on a new passport. Alas, I had a sweet surprise. The efficiency of External Affairs ministry impressed me. Service on par with international standards. Here on the very 4th day of applying I have my new passport.

Now I have decided to serve my 2months notice period in India only and then head to IIMA.
I would really like to thank my boss for being very considerate and allowing me to complete all formalities in India only.
